-Image is pretty good at 1680x1200. Definitely a step up from the 640x480 cameras. However these are stills. It doesn't really do motion at that resolution. It does motion ok at lower quality/resolution settings.-Lots of settings to play with in the web interface. The interface is straighforward and seems to work well.-It uses POE 802.3af which is more or less 48 Vdc (actually has a range of acceptable input voltages). I wish it could take a normal DC in 5V, 9V, 12V, etc.-That fancy looking lens is actually just a sticker on the case. Initially this pissed me off pretty good. Camera seems to work pretty well, hence the reason I am changing my review.-It's pretty tidily packaged in a small aluminum case. It is not weatherproof at all. This is an indoor camera.Really my only gripe about this camera is being stuck with the Power over ethernet.

By Jay
Bought this camera and another D1 camera. Both cameras have very low frame rates and motion blur is noticeable. Good camera for still image captures.
