Let me say that I owned many IP cameras and currently have Dlink DCS-2230 and 3 other Edimax cameras 3030, 7010PTn & now 3015. The 3030 was terrible in every aspect, 7010 also had awful image quality but worked fine as a baby cam for a year.3015 is definitely an improvement in terms of speed and image quality and most importantly at this price it's a steal.PROsDecent quality images (for the price)!Fast User Interface!Excellent price pointStable wireless (unlike 7010)Very compact and elegant design (half the size of 3030 monster)Power cable actually attached to the back (unlike 3030 which at the bottom)30 fps in all resolutionsWorks with Android ipcamviewer app (set it 3030)Wide angle (I am a bit skeptical by this 74 degree claimbecause it is wasted by diagonal measurement, when comparing to non wide cameras it's as wide as Dlink DCS-2230 which is 67 horizontal and 75 diagonal), but you do get additional vertical view. With these non PT cameras wide angle is very important for home use.CONsWider angle lens would've been better(80+). Even true 74 horizontal would've helped.Only Jpeg compression optionDoesn't seem like there is a webpage for mobile access, so you have to use either Edimax android app which is not great or get something like ipcamviewer (7010 has mobile page)No static unprotected jpeg image (7010 has this)Can't embed time stamp in the image (7010 has this)NeutralNo Sound (I missed this from the specs and I don't understand why they couldn't include this)No night recording here and image quality would start degrading as soon as the sun goes down
