Video feed is good both day and night. Limitations are 1. Connection lead from camera is too short. Only 12 inches from unit. 2. If need to mount parallel or perpendicular to ground, no problem, but mounting upside down like under the eves of the roof, then you have a problem, as the camera will not rotate enough to cover normal field of view. And your picture will show upside down because the mounting bracket is fixed to one side of the camera.
