The camera has a nice wide view, not super clear but good enough to make out objects fine. The unit is compact and easy to install, overall very good.

This Defender SP301-C is constructed ok with the exception of one extremely bad design flaw! The ball joint that connects the mounting bracket to the camera is the worst I have ever experienced! It will take an act of God to get the position you want your camera to be in to actually stay after tightening the hand screw. As for the picture quality, there are much better cameras out there that produce clearer images for not much more in price. I would not recommend this camera for the sheer fact of the bad design of the ball joint.

This camera has a normal resolution if they are looking for high image resolution does not recommend it, but if the camera is very durable for materials is made and plays perfectly its Lavor, so if you have to have the encoder to is connected.
