The camera does terrible when recording at HD, actually it does terrible with anything above 800x480. The picture quality however, is very good. But the issues you will face (with HD) is constant lag, variable frame rate (it will speed and slow down). It even does this through their recording program. The camera is still cheap even with these problems, just due to all the features that they packed into it. But if you are looking for an HD camera that can record at a constant frame rate, look elsewhere. This is not a bandwidth issue, I've tried it with it attached to a computer, through a cisco gigabit (full duplex) switch and it still acts the same. However like I said before the image quality is outstanding even on lower resolutions.

We purchase 2 camera.lots of built in functions, good résolution.Not a night camera.lack ajustementbut for the price good purchase
