The Outdoor Camera Enclosure with Heater and Fan (model TV-H510) protects TRENDnet Internet security cameras from extreme temperatures and severe weather with a built in automated heater and fan and an IP66 weather rating. This durable aluminum enclosure is designed for use with compatible TRENDnet Internet security cameras. Mount the enclosure on most surfaces with the included mounting kit. The enclosures final fixed position can be adjusted 360 degrees left-to-right, 40 degrees below horizontal and 15 degree above horizontal. A rugged aluminum visor minimizes reflective solar glare, a hinged swivel-top provides full access to the inside of the enclosure, an access latch-design capable of accepting a padlock (sold separately) protects against camera theft and an easy-install camera mount system reduces IP camera installation time.

I bought this for a Samsung SNZ5200 camera. The housing is designed for a different camera but it worked out really well. There is a bracket in it to mount a smaller camera on vertically. I was able to make a couple of modifications to that and get the Samsung to fit perfectly.The powder coating is excellent. The hardware is good. It came with some wedge anchors for a cement or stucco mounting. I have siding so we'll be through bolting to a backer. But it was cool the fasteners were in there. It even has a hex wrench to adjust the mounting bracket that is included. I did not get the one with the fan & heater.There are three water tight wire bushings in the back. The shade is adjustable. It just slides back and forth. It's very snug so it's not going to fall off or anything. The glass in the front is set in sealant and is clear, no tinting. The front and the back come off and have rubber seals. Inside the back cover there are several cast in studs with holes in them that could be used for mounting other accessories. Probably where the fan & heater go on that model.Shipping was fast. I will be ordering another one as soon as the budget allows.

This has very detailed installation instructions. Moderate level of complexity. Some pictures are misleading. But easy to get around. Cords must be routed differently than pictured. Revision 2 states you can use this with a wireless camera. Revisions 1 and 3 do not mention wireless as an option. That is why it did not get 5 stars. Also, their tech support does not know about having to drill into the wall to run the power outside and they state that you cannot use a wireless connection with this. Further, you cannot use a IR (nighttime) camera. The dome will reflect the IR lighting, making it useless for viewing outside the dome. If you need audio, you will have to research what you need, I do not have this need.If you are going to use a wireless connection (mine is a 410WN model), you will need a right angle adapter for the reverse SMA cord (very cheep from China). Or you will need to purchase another brand of cord that has a right angle reverse SMA connector on the cord. I have this up on a detached garage about 70 feet from my house. No problem connecting to my LAN using the wireless with a outdoor antenna.Overall I am pleased with the operation of the camera and dome. Picture improved somewhat after the lower cover was installed. I thought there would be some degradation as the cover is dark (not as pictured clear) but rather improved.If you are putting up a TrendNet camera outdoors, exposed to the weather this is a must have item.
